Whether you are a new client looking for a new partner in managing the health care and well-being of your furry loved one, or a long-time client with a new pet, we are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to share our time, knowledge, experience, and compassion. We strive to quickly earn your trust and respect and hope to develop life-long relationships with you and your pet.

We are a full-service small animal hospital ideally located to serve the Duluth and Hermantown area of northeastern Minnesota, but even have many clients who regularly travel from surrounding communities such as Superior, Cloquet, Virginia and Hibbing to partner with us for their pet care.

Our Appointment Policy

We operate by appointment to provide the desired time and attention each patient deserves when visiting our hospital. Our normal hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Emergency cases are accepted as necessary and may occasionally lead to other appointment delays. Such delays are not common but are one of the realities of our line of work. Be assured we recognize, value, and respect the importance of your time, and make every attempt to see each client on time to the very best of our ability!

OUR PATIENT ARRIVAL PROCESS

For the protection of all people and pets we require that all animals on our property and in our facility be presented on a leash and properly controlled, or in an appropriately sized carrier, to maximize safety and minimize stress to our patients and clients. We make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during each visit, but some may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings, or other pets. And although your pet may be very social, happy to arrive, and excited to interact, other patients may not be potentially leading to unpredictable behavior by one or both. Upon entering our hospital you will be warmly welcomed and checked in. We strive to room each patient into an exam room as efficiently as possible to minimize wait time in our reception area where, for some patients, excitement or stress can start to heighten. For the safety of all animals in our care we require that all core vaccinations be up to date or be brought on each patient.

Our Payment policy

We require full payment at the time of services rendered. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit cards, Care Credit Healthcare Financing, and of course cash and personal checks. Pet insurance is welcome but payments by insurance providers are typically reimbursement payments back to you, the policy holder and pet owner, following your payment of an invoice to our hospital at time of each visit.
